Acceptable Use & Disclaimer
Last updated: Draft — pending legal review
This notice explains how you may use Provider Essentials and the important limits on what our documents are. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our documents are not legal or compliance advice
Provider Essentials supplies professionally engineered templates and resources designed against the published NDIS Practice Standards. They are starting points and frameworks — not legal, financial, clinical, or compliance advice, and not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
2. You must review and adapt every document
Each provider and participant situation is different. You are responsible for reviewing, completing, and customising every document so it accurately reflects your organisation and your obligations before you rely on it. Using our documents does not guarantee that you will pass an audit, gain or keep registration, or meet any particular regulatory requirement.
3. No affiliation with government
Provider Essentials is an independent, Australian-owned business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, or any other government body.
4. Acceptable use of the Service
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share our templates (modified or not).
- Share or transfer your document licence to another provider or organisation.
- Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the security or integrity of the Service.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract our content.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, misleading, or harmful purpose.
5. No warranty of outcomes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting your non-excludable consumer rights, we do not warrant that the documents will be fit for every purpose or that they will produce any specific compliance or audit result. Responsibility for how the documents are used rests with you.
