Provider Essentials
Document updates

What changed, and when.

We say our documents are written to the published NDIS Practice Standards and kept current as the rules change. This is the record of that — every edition, and what moved in it.

Current edition

Provider Essentials 2026.09

Published 26 September 2026. Every policy and guide prints its edition number in the Document control block on the first page, so you can always tell which one you're holding.

  • 55 document types published: agreements and consent, participant records, policies, records and registers, staff and operations, and Easy Read guides.
  • Policies and guides now carry a Document control block — edition, issue date, who issued it, and a review-due date twelve months on.
  • Service Agreement standard terms (pricing, GST, responsibilities, Code of Conduct, complaints, ending the agreement, privacy) available as an opt-in set.

What we commit to

When a standard changes

When the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission revises a standard, affected documents are reviewed and updated as quickly as we can — usually within a fortnight. A new edition is published here, and we email you.

What this isn't

Keeping wording current is not the same as keeping you current. Documents you've already downloaded don't change; you decide whether to regenerate. Nothing here is legal or compliance advice, and no document guarantees any audit or registration outcome.

Spotted something out of date?

If a rule has changed and our wording hasn't caught up, tell us — that's exactly the thing we want to hear about, and we'll fix it and publish the edition here.
